SOOC Sunday ~ Tiny Toesies

SOOC

Ok, so ↑that photo↑ definitely falls under the "SUCKY STRAIT OUT OF CAMERA" category. I was just trying to get a quick shot of my daughter's little foot as she napped on the couch during a visit to my parents' today. I was finally able to paint her little toe nails for the first time earlier today and wanted to grab a photo so the memory would always stay alive. But, again, that shot just plain ol' stinks *lol*

EDIT

Here's how I ended up editing it. I wanted it to look kinda 'oldish.' I like the little bit of noise that is in the photo. Sometimes grain is my friend :) Anyway. I think I'll edit it a little bit more before I print it. I love textures so I'll probably push the old feeling.

SOOC Before + Fully Edited After

Before {SOOC} & After {EDITED}

I was taking some photos of my baby girl this morning while she was laying on the bed smiling at the curtains (her new best friend!). I pulled the curtains back and raised the blinds because the bed is right beside the window, so this let some really awesome natural light in. Natural light is beautiful and helps to create some great catch lights in eyes!

Anyway.. I'm sitting here editing some photos while my kiddos are asleep and wanted to share a before and after of one of them. Seeing as how I don't share photos of my family on the internet, I cropped the top part of her out. You can still get the general idea of how the editing went though. I wish you could see how pretty her eyes turned out in the photo; maybe another day, I can crop just her eyes...
