Herbed Cheese Omelet

This is a really delicious omelet! I went looking for a recipe because my four year old son kept saying he wanted something with cheese. After realizing I had a million eggs, I figured I could try to make an omelet for the first time ever. I found this recipe and it sounded tasty, so I gave it a shot. It was so easy to make (I omitted the celery seeds because I didn’t have any)! Also, it was a HUGE success with my four year old son and my one year old daughter! I’ve made it two more times since. Now it’s time for more eggs so I can make more when it’s wanted :)

Christmas Dinner.

Here are the two things we contributed to the family Christmas dinner this year! :)

We were supposed to use cherries for the body but couldn't find any with the stems (which would have made up the tail). So we used old fashioned creme drops instead and just made it work for us ;)

Sharing Thanksgiving Recipes

For our family's Thanksgiving Dinner this year, I made two new recipes. I found both on Food Network's website and will share the links to pages with you (just click on the names).

First up, Parmesan Puff Pastry by Paula Deen. Everybody bragged on these a lot! I bought some Pillsbury flaky dough sheets, if you need an idea on what you can use. I really liked these and they were super easy to make!

The second thing I made was Oven Roasted Cauliflower which was shared by Emeril Lagasse. Let me just say that it came out looking NOTHING like the photo *ha, ha* And we were running late to get to my parents' house, so I forgot to add the garlic in at the end.. oops! It tasted kind of funky at first, but then I liked it after a few bites. Not everybody tried it (which I cant say I blame them... funky doesnt always scream delicous!), but those who did seemed to like it.
