Opened the JPG in ACR to do a few minor adjustments:
-clarity
-white balance
-exposure
-blacks
-recovery

Opened in Photoshop CS3 to finish the editing:
-cropped to bring the focus of the photo on the little boy
-white/gray/black point color correct
-brightened eyes
-softened skin slightly
-small color pop on background & then blurred
-dodge/burn different areas of the photo
-did a little editing to give the whole photo a slightly different look than normal
-sharpened

Mommy Edward.

That's what my 3.5 year old calls me when he's trying to get his point across.

Hand on hip, leaning forward, eyes staring me down.... "MOMMY EDWARD!"

I tell him, "My name is not Edward. I'm a girl, anyway."

His repsonse? "Yes it is. You are Mommy. EDWARD!"

Gotta love your children; silly little things *ha*
