My first painting!

I dont like sharing 'people' photos on here (that's why all you ever see is nature*ish stuff b/c the only people I get to get shots of is my family...) but, I cant resist sharing just this once. This is my niece and I took this shot last Friday at my sister's wedding reception.

I learned how to paint and am proud that I actually followed through and completed the whole entire photo without giving up! I know it's not perfect and it could use some more work, but I'm really satisfied with how it turned out *big grins*

From Graceland, to You! {& more}

Went on vacation with my parents and two year old son July 14th-17th while my husband was in Ohio attending apprenticeship school for work. On the 16th, we were in Memphis and toured Elvis' home. Graceland was really beautiful and I enjoyed it thoroughly! While walking to the Presleys' grave sites, I got a shot of this statue. Or, would it be called a monument? Either way, it was stunning and I wanted to share :-)

Saturday, my husband finally got to race his laydown for the first time this season. Between work, school & weddings... he's missed pretty much the whole race season.

*SIDE NOTE* Oh, and our two year old wrecked his little 50 four wheeler there! Pushed the throttle and got away from me (cant really run being 27 weeks pregnant, but I tried really hard - running behind him and screaming the whole way!). He drove smack dab into the fence, flew over the handle bars, smacked head first into the fence and then crumpled to the ground beside the four wheeler. I have never been so scared in my entire life! He cried, but wasnt seriously hurt - just mostly scared of what happened. He got a little boo boo on his hip and ankle, a tiny scratch on his forehead and then a big bruise showed up on his arm a few days later. He could have been seriously injured, but God was watching over him and kept him protected from anything worse.

Ok, back to the photos. Sorry! Gotta share my Mommy experiences sometimes; good or bad!

My Sister's Wedding

Wedding Anniversary!

July 30th (yesterday, seeing as how it's now after midnight) we celebrated our two year wedding anniversary ♥♥ We both agree that it doesnt seem like we've been married for two full years. God has really blessed my life with such a caring, loving husband who is my best friend & wonderful little boy who is the apple of our eyes. I love them so much!

I'm still around.

I really am; I promise! Will be back to posting soon, if nothing happens.

My son and I went on vacation last week from Monday to Thursday with my parents. Had a total BLAST! We made our way down to Memphis and toured Elvis' home, Graceland. So cool!

Then this past weekend we spent with my husband. And Saturday night I helped two of my best friends throw a bachelorette party here in my home for one of our other best friends b/c she's getting married this weekend (where I'm a bridesmaid!).

So, I'm here! Just busy!!

I cant believe I forgot to share this! One of my sisters celebrated a birthday on the 14th, so on Saturday her boyfriend had a surprise party for her in the early afternoon. So, we all went out to his sisters where it was being held. HE PROPOSED!! I got pics of everything and my husband got a video of it on my other camera :)
